Winter Skin Dream Team - Cake Beauty Heavy Cream Collection Review (GIVEAWAY)

One of my most favourite Cake Beauty products recently underwent a facelift, and came back as beautiful as ever; and with 2 more additions to the Heavy Cream family!
When I say I jumped for joy at this news, you had better believe this is an understatement. I almost put a dent in my ceiling! I'm heavily obsessed with this collection (and you will be too, so I'm hosting a little giveaway! Keep reading for more details)

All the products in the Heavy Cream line can be purchased individually, or in a bundle for $60 CAD (which is an insanely good value). They all share the same decadent and delicious vanilla fragrance, too! If smelling like baked goods is your jam, ooh baby you're gonna love all of these!

Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair Balm - $15 CAD for 60mL, or $9 CAD for 30mL (travel-size)

Even though I've mentioned this product on the blog previously, it bares to be repeated that this balm is AMAZING. Now that winter has arrived, I no longer have to fret about my knuckles cracking and bleeding from excessive dryness. My hands have never been this smooth and soft, and it's all thanks to this little miracle in a tube!

While Cake Beauty did revamp the appearance of the Heavy Cream line, I also noticed the standard size went down from 100mL to 60mL. I'm not complaining, because I've barely dented the tube I purchased back in July. I just couldn't resist picking up another for the future!

Heavy Cream Intensely Smoothing Body Balm - $22 CAD for 15mL, or $9 CAD for 60mL (travel-size)

My hands aren't the only thing that suffer from dryness, due to the cold, harsh winters in Ottawa. I'm glad I get to spread the love to the rest of my limbs with this new body balm!

Just like the hand repair balm, this is loaded with 20% shea butter. It has more of a whipped, airy texture than the hand balm, but still quite rich. I find you only need about a dime-sized amount for even coverage and instant hydration. It does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin; it just sinks in and gives a silky soft finish.

It feels like I'm wearing silk pajamas at all hours of the day; that's the definition of luxury, if you ask me!

Heavy Cream Buttery Sugar Body Balm Scrub - $32 CAD for 600g

I love a good scrub, especially in the winter months to rid myself of scaly, dry skin. This is a bit different than other sugar scrubs I've tried, because it doubles as an in-shower balm. Mind blowing, right?! The first time I used this, I texted my friend after to tell her it was "an experience better than sex,". Of course a description this bold deserves some explainin'.

It has a consistency like buttercream frosting (and it smells just as delish!). After taking a scoop and scrubbin' all over, don't rinse just yet! The instructions say to use this during the final moments of your shower session, because you need to let this sink in for 1-2 minutes to feel the amazing results. And believe me, your skin will be singing once you emerge!

If you're used to applying body lotion after bathing, you'll be pleasantly surprised to know you can now skip this step! A few extra minutes in the shower will ultimately save you time in your routine!
Though if you really wanna lock in the scent and softness, it can't hurt to put on a little bit of the body balm, too!

Because I love the Heavy Cream collection so much, I want you all to try it & love it, too!
